the
thirst project has to do something with water.the thirst project is created for people in countries that cant have clean and that have unsanitary water. so people like us can change the world for them.we don't have a problem with water because it is easy for us that we could just open the sink faucet and the water comes out clean.they have to walk miles and miles just to get clean water. and its not the guys that get the water its the mothers and her children while the husbands go to work.the thirst project was created in 2007.its sad to say that children die because they cant have clean water.we have to raise money from our schools to help the ones in need.we need to be grateful that there is no problem here.
to build a pump the high costs about $2,790 on average is $900.some of the countries that arebeing helped by this organization are Uganda, Columbia, ethiopia,India, and Swaziland.how im able to help by donating money to my school putting it in the jar and giving them the money to help make pumps.also by telling other people about this organization.how i raised my dollar was by doing chores at my house and selling and collecting my cans.it was worth it.what i thought when i became aware of the negative effects of not clean water, i was shocked.i didn't know that this can even be possible. that this can happen to little children and watching them die on the spot because the didn't have enough water.i felt very terrible inside and out i almost felt like crying when the guy gave the presentation.that these children get so many diseases and die from illness.
i actually have witnessed that the lack of clean water where i visited is sad.there was this one time where i visited my aunt and this lady was drinking her own pee.i felt bad for her and gave her$20 she felt so happy and so she hugged me and gave me a kiss she told god blees this child on earth she was struggling to find water and she didn't have money because my aunt lives in the middle of the desert.i felt so relieved when i donated those few dollars.even one dollar can change a persons whole entire life.they would be gad even if you did donate like a quarter they would be so happy.thats why people where i live and i should be so glad that we have the cleanest water where we live.we should be glad that we can drink from whatever faucet and that water would come out so clean.i feel relieved that i can cgange a persons life not only change it but save it.
